Looks like we've got two new members and a new affiliate, so give 'em a big welcome, please.

Just to let everyone know that to-day, Friday, I'm losing my cable and internet at home until further notise, so the updates to the club will be pretty slow. I can only go to the library once a week for going online (mainly due to work), and since I've got my own account and two other clubs to run besides this one, I can't get to all of them in my 2-hour time limit, so you'll have to excuse the lack of updates. I know the updates were already pretty slow, but until last Friday, I was super-busy with college and work. Now I've got no internet, so I guess the updates will continue to be slow. I'm really sorry about this, but it's just how things have worked out.

I should be able to get my internet back in a couple of months, though, when I get moved (read my main account's journal for more info), and then I'll be back online every day, and I might even start another contest. I'll let you guys know how that turns out as the events unfold.

It's very easy to get your artwork submitted to the club; just follow these steps and soon your picture(s) will be in the gallery for everyone to see.

Send the club a note with the link to the picture. In the upper-right corner of the club's main page there is a link that reads, "Send a Note". Click it, then in the subject line type in "Submission" (if it's a contest entry, type in "Contest Entry"). In the body, provide a link to your picture.

Remember, this is a deviantART gallery, and we can only take submissions from other deviantART galleries. Do not send any links from PhotoBucket, MySpace, Facebook, etc, and do NOT send links to artwork that does not belong to you.

Also, this is very important: when you send a link of your picture(s) to us, you are giving us permission to use it in our gallery. This will hopefully prevent anyone from claiming that we're stealing artwork (which hasn't happened yet, thankfully), and if some idiot doesn't read all the words all over the place that says "DO NOT FAVE HERE" and faves anyway, we can kill 'em... er, get onto their case...

Sometime in the near Future (can't give an exact date yet), I'll be going thru the gallery and adding the text to the effect of, "This is a club submission, do not fave here" or something like that. If you do not want it to appear on your artwork in the gallery, please let us know ASAP. We'll work out another arrangement if this comes up.

TO JOIN:

If you'd like to join the club, do these very simple steps and you'll soon be a part of the club:

1. Add the club to your watch list. On the club's main page, you'll see a link in the upper-right corner that reads, "Watch this deviant". Click it, and that's all.

2. Add the club's icon to your journal. In your journal, type in :icon hinata-fans: without the space. If you just want the text, type in :dev hinata-fans: without the space. That's all you have to do, and you'll see the icon (or words) appear in your journal.

3. Send the club a note, asking to join. On the club's main page, there will be a link in the upper-right corner that reads, "Send a Note". Click it, then in the subject line type in "Join". In the body of the note, just ask to join the club, then click "Submit".

That's all!! Once you receive a note back from us, you'll officially be a part of the club.



TO AFFILIATE:

It's just as easy to affiliate with the club as it is to join:

1. Send the club a note, asking to affiliate. In the upper-right corner of the club's main page, there will be a link that reads, "Send a Note". Click it. In the subject line, type in "Affiliate", then in the body just ask to affiliate.

2. Add the club's icon to your journal. This is pretty simple to do, since most clubs that ask for affiliation already know the drill, but it's the same as the second step for joining.

Affiliates do not have to add the club to their watch list if they choose not to, but the potential members MUST add the club to their watch list.

There aren't a lot of rules for the club, and they're very easy to follow. But please make sure to read thru them all and make sure you understand them. If you have any questions related to the rules, feel free to comment here or send a note.

1. Be polite to everyone. This is a club for fans of Hinata to get together and etc, not to criticsie each other and the artwork. If you don't have anything nice to say, keep it to yourself.

2. NO hentai or yuri-based art. Both are disgusting and wrong, and if you disagree, then I'm sorry. If you submit artwork here, it needs to be clean.

3. The only fancoupling allowed is NaruHina. This is not saying if you don't like the fancoupling, you can't join; this is not a NaruHina club. It's for Hinata ONLY; the whole NaruHina thing is just an added deal. If you absolutely must submit some other Hinata fancoupling, take a look at our Affiliates to see what other clubs you may submit your artwork to.

4. Do NOT fave any of the artwork in the gallery!! I can't stress this enough; there's only 3 of us who run the club, but we don't draw every single submission in the gallery. In fact, almost all of the artwork belongs to the memers, and unless you fave at their page, they'll never know how much you like it.

5. Have fun!! I'm not trying to make this a boring club, or an overly-strict one; I'm just setting down the boundaries of tolerance so everyone understands what is and isn't acceptable.

Again, if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask away here or in a note. Also, if anyone violates these rules, you will get only one warning. If you continue to violate them, you will be removed from the club. The rules are very simple; there's no reason to break them.
